chibi powar
My meager attempts at both chibi designs for our intrepid trio, aswell as an attempt at inking. Now you might be looking at this issue and thinking ‘wait a minute… thats not inked’ and no, it isnt as I am no where near that amazing at it. This was only my third attempt at inking drawings on paper and whilst they werent bad, far from it, they still didnt have the edge and lovelyness that this finished one has.
In my attempt to display how cute and cuddly this idea was I kinda destroyed it a bit, as it was at work I was also being a bit rushed as well [work takes precedence naturally] but in between two virus filled computers, a lovely cadbury’s chocolate bar and a bottle of diet coke or two… I remembered a lovely vectorising tool: Vector magic which I heartly recommend as they are responsible for how awesome this set turned out. A little bit lighter that I’d have like, yes, but that was mainly due to the scanned images.
next week’s have been written and are being drawn tomorrow for colouring over the w/e … at least, thats the plan.
